Special Release (Geisha also Gesha Variety)
This is a micro-lot coffee from the La Bastilla Coffee Estates in JInotega, Nicaragua. In addition to being a Geisha (also Gesha) variety, a highly praised coffee for its cup quality, it has also undergone anaerobic fermentation with the addition of a special formulated yeast, resulting in a smooth, yet complex cup profile that we are excited to share with you!
Bag Size: 12 oz
Roast Type: Light
Origin: JInotega, Nicaragua
Process: Yeast Anaerobic Process
Flavor Notes: Blueberry, papaya, chocolate, smooth with a slight acidity in the finish.
Tips: This coffee shines as a pour over or drip, but would also make a good cold brew or aeropress. We recommend grinding it on a medium size. Letting the coffee age at least 14 days post roast will bring out the best flavors in the cup.
